bergmeisterwolf architekten have reawakened a once-sleepy corner of Brixen’s old town, revealing new axes and passageways long sealed away. They opened up an inner courtyard that, in truth, belongs to everyone. Steps for sitting. A fountain. For concerts, readings, encounters.
Badhaus makes the most of every square centimetre in this dense urban setting. A composition of low-rise structures and a slender tower that narrows as it rises, intentionally breaking away from the lines of the buildings around it. The terraces of the lower levels are softened by nature – trees and plants that bring colour to the urban space throughout the year.
